My fiance and I booked Rome by Suite Vatican for a week in May. The location is great, the Metro line literally outside the door gets you to anywhere you need to go. The metro card gets you on all public transport including buses and trams. It is a nice 25-30 minute walk to Vatican city, (Metro gets you there in about 15). When you arrive outside the apartment, it’s a little hidden, up the side by a pharmacy. The room is very clean, and bed is comfortable. A good / well needed A/C system ensures a great night’s sleep. We had a nice little balcony/breakfast area too. Fresh croissants and very good coffee every morning included for breakfast. (We loved the vanilla ones). Leearna (hope I’m spelling that right), was our wonderful hostess. We don’t speak any Italian, but she was very good at communicating and informed us of the best places to visit nearby for food , and the best way to get to all the standout attractions. She also cleaned our room with fresh sheets and towels provided everyday. Couldn’t ask for more, very reasonable price, would definitely come again. Darragh and Heather
